Question:  What were the people called in the early church?

Hello! Thanks for your question. People in the early Church were called Christians, if they were followers of Christ. People who became Christians were either originally Jews or Gentiles, Gentile meaning anyone who wasn't a Jew. The early Church was started by the apostles and Paul, who went and spread the gospels.
