Question: I am cleaning out my dorm room and there is a crucifix that is both broken (the figure of Christ is no longer attatched to the cross), and no longer needed as I have several. My question is what is the proper way to dispose of it?

The proper way to dispose of blessed objects is to destroy/break them so that they cannot be used for unintended purposes.

Articles that are not blessed can be disposed of as is.
