Question: Why
does the church not have an exorcist for every Archdiocese. When people
need information or help in that area, they have no one to turn to for help.
Answer:
Dear Emery,
Good question! It’s my understanding that every Diocese or Archdiocese may have, but not must have, a priest assigned as an exorcist. Most priests are not interested in that kind of a job assignment, Emery, understandably so.
Anyone in need of an exorcist should contact their local Diocesan office and inquire as to the availability of an exorcist. Diocesan officials would have that kind of information.
