Question: Is
it a sin to either have a face-lift or breast implants?
Answer:
Thanks for an interesting question. Is it a sin to wear make-up? Is it a sin to wear clothes that are becoming? Is it a sin to wear contacts? To have laser surgery to achieve 20/20 vision? No, I don't think so. So, the question becomes, where do we draw the line?
It is my opinion that if the procedure you are contemplating would put your life in jeopardy, that is a sin. Risking life for the sake of vanity is prioritizing in a backward fashion.
If the procedure you are contemplating means financially that your family would have to do without necessities such as food and shelter, I believe that is a sin.
If your physical appearance is the center of your life, I believe that is a sin. Make God first and all else will fall into place.
Think about your personal priorities. Take an inventory and go from there.
