Question:  OK, I have been wondering what happens after death. If you are married and you and your partner die are you still together in heaven? I know when you get married it says `till death do us part` but the whole point of life is to meet your soul mate and procreate. So when thinking about eternity you really are only with your true love for a blink of an eye.

Answer: 

Thanks for your question...you pretty much have it right. This life is just a blink of an eye so to speak. There is no marriage in heaven.

You say the whole point of life is to meet your soul mate and procreat. That is not necessarily so. God does not call everyone to the married state. Some are called to live unmarried; some are called to the religious life.
